Bridgette Charcoal Black Dress

I love this fabric. I have worn it only once so far to an outdoor wedding where the temperature was very hot. It was great. I only did 4 star because I had to pin the sleeves to the strap to keep them from falling down. I like the off the shoulder look, but not for this time.

Absolutely stunning dress. Fantastic quality and it feels luxurious. I'm VERY busty (12 HH bra size), and this dress has such great inbuilt support that I could get away with no bra and the girls still look great! The support in the waist paired with the flowy skirt also meant I can get away with no shape wear if I wanted to. These dresses are expensive, however they are worth every cent (if you can afford it) due to the quality and the versatility of the design. This will be a forever piece I can pull out for any nice event.

ordered this dress for a ball i’m attending and was so worried it wasn’t going to suit me, but can say it is absolutely gorgeous and so suitable for my body type, i’m super happy!!

I am so in love with this dress! The sizing is so generous, its all elasticised and is so flattering on my body. First the colour is so beautiful, goes so well with my tanned SE Asian skin but also looks so gorgeous next to my paler partner! I love how it fits at the bust and then flows out at the waist, such a stunning effect and perfect for twirling and feeling whimsical. Speaking of bust, no bra needed!!! Somehow the girls feel supported (probably because of how snug the elasticised part is??) But I went a whole day feeling fine with no pain. Plus so flattering!??!?! Felt so pretty in it.
Cons - the sleeves are a little fiddly, my shoulders are not so broad so they struggle to stay up as actual 'sleeves' rather than off the shoulder details. I used safety pins to secure them, not just the buttons and it seems to work better. I am also short so the length is a bit toooo long for me, but nothing a pair of heels or alterations can't fix!
Overall such a cute dress and so comfy to wear in any season (especially spring and summer!!).

This dress is absolutely stunning and extremely well made. Definitely an investment piece.

My first but not my last order from Aulieude. Probably one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever worn. You can tell this brand and designer loves women of all shapes and sizes, and that so much thought and care has gone into these dresses. Great sized pockets, the cut of the dress flatters curves and those with a larger bust. It feels supportive. Love the ability to change the sleeve, 3 dresses in 1! I loove this dress! The lining is fantastic, material is comfy and so soft but feels so expensive. Well worth the money! I can’t wait to order more!

Love this dress so much! The quality and feel of the fabric is lovely, and the shape is so flattering. Love that you can wear with or without sleeves. I am a B/C cup and will need to get the busy altered, but it's worth it for me to have such a gorgeous dress!

As a person who sometimes make their clothes as well, this dress is of GOOD quality, all the seams are finished cleanly, the construction is good as well. Highly recommend, it's definitely worth the price!

The adjustability has made me realise all my clothes need to be able to change with me, not the other way around. I wear it mostly without the sleeves and put a top on underneath for a more casual look. I would love to be able to buy additional sleeves in different shapes, a long sleeve like Charlotte would be amazing.

Customer support was kind and helpful in helping me double check that I was getting the right size. Shipping to the USA was super quick. The black tencel fabric is great, and I love the way it feels on my skin. The removal sleeves are clever. It nips in at the waist and flows out so beautifully. FYI straight out of the package, the dress does need to be ironed or steamed. And for my fellow girls with bigger boobs, I definitely need to wear a bra or I will sag, but your bra should be mostly covered (you might need to use a bit of fashion tape). Again, so happy I bought this dress and can't wait to wear it for years to come!

Lovely! Fabric is lightweight and allows me to feel cool in 40°C+. The zipper is so well hidden, I wasn’t even zipping it all the way down at first. You can wear this with or without a bra, it has enough coverage to hide straps and the pockets are huge. You can put the removable sleeves IN the pocket! Super flattering, great cut. I love the contoured hip stitching the most.
